Aptech Africa is thrilled to announce the successful installation of a 89.99kWp solar power system in Kajo Keji Civil Hospital- South Sudan. South Sudan, with its abundant sunlight and growing energy demands, presents a prime opportunity for solar energy.
Aptech Africa designed, supplied, installed and commissioned the 89.99Kwp Off grid system in South Sudan with a 155kwh battery energy storage. The system was roof mounted, risen solar modules of 545w and Victron inverters were used in the installation of the system as well as a remote monitoring system that indicates the operating status and input/output information.
The installed system is meant to reduce costs of grid and minimizing the emission of carbon in the premises. It is also meant to reduce on the over reliance on the Diesel Generator because fuel is not easily accessible in the area.
Thanks to the team of experienced engineers and technicians from Aptech Africa, the system will benefit more than 300 people including the patients, the doctors and the support staff. Reliable energy access is a cornerstone for development. This project not only enhances operational efficiency but also demonstrates the potential of renewable energy to drive economic growth and improve livelihoods in South Sudan. It showcases how solar power can be a transformative solution for businesses, institutions, and communities.
A well-functioning hospital serves patients, healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses, and technicians. With a reliable power system, the above mentioned people are able to receive the best healthcare for the patients and ability to provide the best healthcare services for the doctors and the nurses.
