Aptech Africa recently completed an innovative solar energy project at Bangui site Central African Republic. The system was designed to ensure reliable, uninterrupted electricity for critical operations, including electronic gates, servers, and perimeter surveillance cameras, addressing frequent power outages and enhancing overall site security.
The hybrid solar installation features three Victron 5KVA inverters, 48 OPzV 2V-1500Ah Soleil Power batteries, and 18 solar panels of 355Wp each, delivering a total capacity of 6.39 kWp and 144 kWh of battery storage. Mounted on the rooftop and integrated with both the grid and a backup generator, the system ensures continuous power supply under all circumstances. A remote monitoring system provides real-time data on power generation and consumption, enabling proactive and efficient energy management.
This project not only guarantees energy reliability for over 20 staff members but also mitigates risks associated with power failures, ensuring seamless operations while promoting environmental sustainability. Through the implementation of this hybrid solar solution, Aptech Africa has significantly strengthened operational resilience at the site, demonstrating its expertise in delivering high-tech, dependable, and eco-friendly energy solutions for sensitive and critical facilities
