Aptech Africa has successfully completed a photovoltaic (PV) installation project in Berberati, Central African Republic (CAR), reinforcing access to reliable, clean, and sustainable energy in a region. The project demonstrates Aptech Africa’s commitment to delivering decentralized renewable energy solutions that support operational continuity, cost efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
The photovoltaic system was carefully designed to meet the site’s energy needs while ensuring efficiency, durability, and ease of maintenance. The installation includes 12 photovoltaic panels, each rated at 355 Wp, 16 batteries for energy storage and backup power, 80A charge controller to regulate battery charging and protect the system, and Photovoltaic inverter rated at 3,500 W / 48 V.
This configuration enables the system to generate solar energy during the day, store excess power, and supply electricity during evenings, nights, or grid outages. The completed photovoltaic system delivers immediate and long-term benefits to the facility and surrounding operations. Solar energy significantly lowers electricity expenses and minimizes reliance on fuel-powered generator. The use of clean, renewable solar power reduces carbon emissions and supports climate-friendly development in CAR. Battery storage guarantees continuity of operations during periods of low grid availability or complete outages. Stable power supply supports lighting, office equipment, communication systems, and other essential operations, improving overall efficiency.
Access to reliable electricity is a key enabler of economic activity, service delivery, and community development. Through this photovoltaic installation in Berberati, Aptech Africa contributes to strengthening energy resilience while promoting the adoption of renewable energy technologies across the Central African Republic.
The successful completion of the photovoltaic installation project in Berberati speaks Aptech Africa’s mission to deliver sustainable, practical energy solutions across Africa. By combining quality equipment, thoughtful system design, and clean energy principles, the project provides lasting value for today and a resilient foundation for the future.
