Across Buin, Arawa, and Baka in Papua New Guinea, three hybrid roof-mounted solar PV systems have been successfully installed by Aptech Africa Ltd across selected community hubs, delivering 26.6 kWp, 30 kWp, and a combined 90.88 kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). These installations are more than infrastructure projects, they are catalysts for opportunity, resilience, and inclusive growth.
The solar PV installations in Buin, Arawa, and Baka are already redefining what is possible within these hubs. Training sessions are more consistent, equipment is better utilized, and participants can focus on learning and innovation rather than power interruptions.
