As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, Aptech Africa continues to take meaningful steps to uplift vulnerable communities across Africa. One of the company’s most impactful initiatives is the installation of a photovoltaic (PV) solar system at Elite Young Nursery and Primary Community school.
This project exemplifies Aptech Africa’s dedication not only to advancing renewable energy but also to fostering social good in the communities it serves.
Elite young nursery and primary community school, like many institutions caring for vulnerable children, face numerous challenges in providing essential services, including access to consistent, affordable energy. This lack of energy limits the children’s opportunities for education, as there are no lights for evening study.
“Thanks to this installation, the children will be able to study very well, very early in the morning and evening prep. The security around and in the school has also been improved due to the increased lighting” says one of the school heads. The installed system will benefit 210 students, 14 teachers and the neighborhood.
The installation of a PV solar system in the community school is more than a CSR project—it is a testament to the power of renewable energy to change lives. By bringing light and opportunity to those who need it most, Aptech Africa is setting an example for how businesses can use their expertise and resources to make a lasting difference.
This project not only powers the community school but also illuminates the path toward a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
