DE-COMMISSIONING AND RE-INSTALLATION OF SOLAR SYSTEM AT GEZA POULTRY FARM

Aptech Africa recently supplied, installed, and commissioned a repair and maintenance on a 22.78kWp of solar PV at Geza poultry farm, located in Kitosi-Mukono District, Uganda.

The works included removing of existing panels and replacing them with 67 pieces of monocrystalline Soleil Power panels of 340W.

The old system that the client had, had different brand and quality of panels that kept burning, so he decided to replace them with Aptech’s high quality soleil power panels.

With the replacement with Aptech’s high quality solar panels with over 20% high efficiency, our client is assured of constant and reliable power supply until the 25-year life span has expired.

The system is off grid and uses energy purely from solar to power the business.

The installation helps to power the motors running the chicken feeds in the different coops and lighting points giving enough light all over the farm

The system is sufficiently providing energy to 8 coops at the farm, that are currently housing over 50,000 chickens in total, with the goal to maximize profits from the business by ensuring easy and smooth running of daily works at the farm.
