Aptech Africa recently commissioned a stand-alone PV system for the URA and immigration offices in Ntoronko District.
This system has a 10.5 KWp solar system with 8-200Ah batteries. The system was designed to be a stand-alone system, but due to the inverter technology used, can also be converted to a hybrid system. The system uses Growatt intverters and has remote monitoring capabilities.
This system will greatly cut diesel generator expenses for the URA and immigration offices. The grid has not yet reached Ntotonko District, so the system Aptech designed and installed is set to provide cost savings. Over 50 people use the offices, and the power is used to power the computers, phones, printers, and other office and security equipment.
Thanks to Aptech’s installation, the URA and immigration offices in Ntoroko District are now enjoying uninterrupted access to clean power.
